Henry Chesbrough joins the Editorial Board of CIJ

We are pleased to announce that in 2018 Prof. Henry Chesbrough will be joining the editorial board of the CERN IdeaSquare Journal of Experimental Innovation, as a Senior editor.

Prof. Chesbrough is Adjunct Professor, and Executive Director of the Center for Open Innovation, Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley, United States. He is also a visiting professor at ESADE, Spain.

Some of his research interests are: Models of Industrial Innovation to Organizing, structuring and managing internal and external research and development, Technology-based spinoffs, and corporate venture capital, Managing intellectual property and Comparative innovation in high technology industries between the US, Japan and Western Europe.

Prof. Chesbrough runs several influential Open Innovation Networks and Conferences, including the European Innovation Forum (EIF) and the Annual World Open Innovation Conference (WOIC).

He is author of many research articles published in international journals and the author of Open Innovation, HBS Press, 2003, which was awarded Best Business Book of 2003 by Strategy & Business Magazine, and Open Business Models, HBS Press 2006, awarded one of the ten best books on innovation by Businessweek Magazine.

Prof. Chesbrough was awarded the Leading Through Innovation Award in 2009 and is among the organizers of the World Open Innovation Conference (http://woic.corporateinnovation.berkeley.edu/)
