Submission of a manuscript/report implies that:
- The work described has not been published before. It is, however, acceptable that the work has already been published in the form of an abstract, as part of a thesis, as part of a published academic lecture or as a preprint. In this case it must be indicated that the material has been submitted for publication in a CERN Yellow Report.
- The work described is not under consideration for publication anywhere else, e.g. in a journal or as a book.
If in doubt about the above points (for example because you want to publish an updated version of a lecture given at a previous School, etc.), please contact CERN Publishing for further discussion.
Furthermore, submission of an article/report implies that its publication has been approved by all authors and by the authorities where the work has been carried out.
