This lecture was intended to give a flavor of the creativity which can be applied to injection and extraction, in terms of concepts, systems, challenges and solutions that are somewhat unconventional. A dazzling array of techniques and technologies were already described in great detail in the other lectures; conventional is therefore a very relative or subjective term. In this paper some of the more unusual or creative methods for filling or emptying accelerators are presented and discussed.Downloads
