This article reports some highlights from the joint INFN/ARIES workshop ECLOUD’18. We focus on electron-cloud eects in the LHC and at SuperKEKB, predictions for future machines like FCC-hh, HE-LHC and FCC-ee, models and parameters for the secondary-emission yield, recent trends in electron-cloud simulations, mitigation measures, and novel phenomena. Some workshop statistics and a brief outlook conclude the paper.
