Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.


Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The text has been written using the appropriate Word or Latex templates and adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in theĀ Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Series.

  4. Where available, DOIs and URLs for the references have been provided.
  5. The publication of this contribution has been approved by all authors and by the authorities where the work has been carried out.

  6. If re-using material (e.g. images, excerpt of texts) originally published elsewhere, all copyrights have been cleared (where required).
  7. All illustrations, figures have been provided in the allowed formats (JPG, TIFF, PNG) and at a resolution of at least 300 DPIs. In case of a contribution in Word, all original files have been provided separately.
